The Houston Children’s Festival is gearing up for its 26th festival set for March 29 & 30, 2014 and we need YOU. The festival benefits CHILD ADVOCATES, INC. and the abused and neglected children that it serves. In fact, The Festival has now raised over $4.7 million for Child Advocates
and volunteers like YOU helped make it happen.
Volunteering for the festival is a fun time and a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the children served by Child Advocates. We invite you, your family, co-workers and friends to experience it for yourself.
Best friends, judges, booster clubs, moms, attorneys, accountants, secretaries, dads, plumbers, nurses, school service clubs, families, company teams, sororities, fraternities, teachers. People just like YOU. And we can put you to work if' you're sixteen years or older. We'd love to have your help even if you're as young as thirteen, but volunteers thirteen through fifteen must have a guardian volunteer with them.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Volunteers are essential to the success of the festival. They keep things rolling by working in the following booths and areas:
Admissions * Coupon * Beverages * Food * Games * Lost Kids
Tag Your Tot * VIP * Greeters * Ticket Taker * Sponsor Areas * Flex Team

You have the choice of several shift times.
Saturday Shifts: Sunday Shifts:
10:00 am - 1:30 pm 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
3:30 pm - 6:30 pm 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
WHERE DO I SIGN-UP?
Thanks so much for your interest. We welcome individual volunteers, as well as groups. So grab your family, some friends from work, your church group, your school service club or your booster club and come join us. ANY size group is the RIGHT size. You'll feel good helping such a worthy cause AND you'll have a great time. Guaranteed. To sign-up please check back in January.

I coordinate volunteers for a living and I was incredibly impressed with the volunteer coordination for this event. I felt like I knew what to do every step of the way. The reminder emails were very helpful and made it easy to show up appropriately dressed, at the right place, at the right time and park easily. I had a great time and plan to volunteer next year.
