McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival Postponed
Due to Coronavirus and Safety of the patrons, staff and volunteers.
(Houston, TX) The McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival has chosen to postpone the April 4th and 5th Downtown Houston event due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival is the Largest Children’s Festival in the United States and annually fills downtown with family entertainment, activities and fun while benefitting Child Advocates.
“We take the safety and health of our festival patrons, staff, volunteers and community very seriously.” says Tony Terwilliger, McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival Executive Director. “This decision was not taken lightly or without consideration of many factors,” Terwilliger said. “While we recognize this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we also recognize and respect that the need for this festival is still very important…to raise money and awareness to support the abused and neglected children served by Child Advocates. We look forward to producing this festival at a later date to continue this mission.”
